Vladimir "Vlad" Sadovskiy
President
As New Edge Payments President, Mr. Sadovskiy oversees all revenue and customer operations, as well as business development and strategic partnerships. Mr. Sadovskiy also serves as a President of Merchant Processing Services Corp ("MPS") which he co-found and previosly served as its CEO. During his tenure as CEO of MPS, he has vitalized the growth of this entity with a merchant portfolio exceeding 15,000 merchants. Mr. Sadovskiy has an extensive background spanning 15 years in the bank card services business. He has served in numerous roles covering from sales and sales management to operations and global technology functions. Before MPS, Mr. Sadovskiy's extensive career in merchant processing services included the responsibility and architecture of the systems and successful operations at First Data Merchant Services and Chase Merchant Services. He proceeded from 1998-2005 to expand his scope and breadth of industry acumen by actively working for Concord Payment Systems and in turn running NVS Communications prior to his assuming the President of MPS.
Oleg Firer
Executive Chairman
Oleg Firer is a seasoned leader with the knowledge and experience in corporate transactions, financial services, wireless technology and logistics. His previous experience and successes includes roles as senior operations manager, building corporate presence and generating profitability in highly competitive markets. He also has proven achievements in new product launch and new market development.
Previously, Mr. Firer served as the Chairman, President and CEO of Acies Corporation (NASDAQ: ACIE.OB), a provider of payment processing solutions to small-to-medium size merchants in the United States. Prior to Acies, Mr. Firer served as the Chief Operating Officer for Digital Wireless Universe, a leading B2B distributor of wireless voice and data communications products and services. Under his leadership, the Company developed an automated credit risk management and wireless procurement systems.
Prior to Digital Wireless Universe, Mr. Firer served as a Managing Partner of CellCellCell, LLC, a premier online distributor of wireless products and services; Vice President for SpeedUS Corp., a NASDAQ-traded holding company that owns an equity interest in diverse businesses, as well as a pioneer of Local Multipoint Distribution System ("LMDS").
Chris Anderson, CPA
Executive Vice President
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Chris Anderson is a senior executive with significant financial and operational experience. In 2009, Mr. Anderson joined Pipeline Cynergy Holdings (PCH), a market leading payments processing company, where he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. During a period of unprecedented growth, Mr. Anderson directed the administration, finance, human resource, and treasury functions for the company, as well as provided financial diligence and strategy on transactions related to acquisitions and equity capital investments.
In 2007, Mr. Anderson was appointed President of Cash and Logistics, a division of Fiserv, Inc. focused on providing cash supply chain solutions to the international banking sector. During his tenure, Mr. Anderson inaugurated an ambitious cross-enterprise strategic initiative designed to install and maintain Fiserv Cash & Logistics as the undisputed leader in its space. Under his leadership, the division significantly enhanced sales growth, and profit margins achieved an all-time high. Mr. Anderson’s initiatives involved a focused command towards customer centric relationships, ever-forward looking product development and support, enhanced value added consulting services, and thought leadership. Prior to leading Cash and Logistics, in 2005 Mr. Anderson joined CheckFree, a subsidiary of Fiserv, as its Vice President of Finance.
Having spent his career working in the technology industry, Mr. Anderson focused his professional experience on start-ups and emerging market companies. Before joining Fiserv, he served 7 years as Chief Financial Officer for London Bridge Group of North America, Inc., a global software company, which later was acquired by Fair Isaac Corporation. Mr. Anderson’s background also includes working for Arthur Andersen and Deloitte & Touche in their management consulting technology practices, serving clients in both the private and public sectors.
Mr. Anderson is a Summa Cum Laude graduate in Managerial Economics from the University of California and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Sheila G. Corvino, Esq.
Chief Legal Officer
Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Cynergy Data since October 2009; General Counsel of Pipeline Data since June 2007, Corporate Secretary of Pipeline Data since February 2009. Mrs. Corvino has represented Pipeline Data since March 2000. From 2000 to 2005, Mrs. Corvino also served as lead corporate counsel to Eweb 21, a pioneer in social networking and ecommerce with corporate headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, executive offices in London and branches in Tokyo, Sydney, Hong Kong and Manila. Mrs. Corvino worked directly with the Eweb chairman and chief executive officer on world-wide corporate transactions, franchise opportunities and financing arrangements with, among others, Soft Bank and the South Korean government. From 1995, Mrs. Corvino concentrated on international, corporate and securities laws, representing various entities in New York, London and Vienna. She developed a niche practice consulting for U.S. law firms on special matters representing both onshore and offshore corporations going public in the U.S. and foreign companies being acquired by U.S. entities. Mrs. Corvino practiced at Battle Fowler (merged into Paul Hastings Janofsky and Walker) concentrating in corporate and securities law from June 1987 to September 1993 and as in-house counsel at The Dreyfus Corporation from October 1993 to January 1995. Mrs. Corvino is a three-time American Jurisprudence Award winner, a graduate of St. John's University Law School and was a published member of its law review.
Steven Wolberg, Esq.
Executive Vice President
Steven Wolberg is responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of the company. He provides oversight, guidance and direction on all Unified’s legal matters, enterprise risk management, compliance, operations and business development. Mr. Wolberg plays an integral role in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the Company including but not limited to mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Wolberg has more than 20 years of experience transacting in business both locally and internationally and brings a unique mix of business and legal skills to the Company. He has been actively involved in the payment-processing industry for the past 8 years. As Managing Member of Prime Portfolios LLC, Mr. Wolberg was responsible for the successful acquisition, management and sale of numerous multi million-dollar payment processing assets. He has been actively involved with Unified for the past 5 years and has been instrumental in identifying strategic acquisition targets, leading due diligence teams and closing on transactions that were subsequently rolled into the Company. Most recently, he his initiatives have included identifying and negotiating key technology partnerships for Unified that will enhance the Company’s offerings and set it apart from its competitors.
Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Wolberg successfully served in multiple legal and business roles including serving as Vice President of Business Development and Chief Legal Counsel of Mascot Network a Massachusetts technology company and senior Corporate Attorney at Attorneys Brown & Rudnick.
Mr. Wolberg earned his Bachelor of Arts and Bachelors of Laws degrees from the University of Witwatersrand, in Johannesburg, South Africa, and graduated summa cum laude with a Juris Doctorate from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. He is also a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
